Congratulations Emma on your first nicotine-free lap around the sun! It is special, isn't it! Yep, freedom tis yours ours for keeps so long as all nicotine stays on the outside. Like you, I didn't understand why circulatory disease was smoking's #1 killer until Joel explained it to me. As for your other favorite threads, O'Bob left us lots of gems. Glad you found the Forgotten You helpful. We'll she's back, she's yours and there remains just one rule to keeping her ... no nicotine today, NTAP!Breathe deep, hug hard, live long,John - Gold x13

Hi All,
Sorry for not seeing the rest of your posts! Thank you, John, Rick, and Doc, for your wonderful words. John, I must say that your book was really meaningful and spot on for me, and I thank you for it. Yes, the real me is back, and I am so grateful.
Well, I am happy to be back to ring in another year!!!! YAY!!!! I almost forgot about my two year anniversary altogether, and boy did THAT seem like an impossible thing not too long ago. Most of the time now, I forget that I ever smoked at all. Such a wonderful thing. I DO, however, make sure to remember one thing: NEVER TAKE ANOTHER PUFF. I really, really like this freedom that I'm enjoying, so I'll keep on keeping nicotine on the outside. :) And it does keep getting better!!!<3Emma - Free and Healing for Two Years and 22 Hours, while extending my life expectancy 50 Days and 19 Hours, by avoiding the use of 14638 nicotine delivery devices that would have cost me $7,121.35.

Hi,
Just checking in. Spring is unfolding beautifully where I live, and I am grateful to be experiencing my third spring without cigarettes in my life. Today marks 29 months of freedom for me. :D No Nicotine Today! I absolutely LOVE being on the other side of the bars.
Cheers,
Emma
