Hello everyone, I have recently joined in hopes to stave off the cravings I have been having by reading and internalizing the motivation here from others.
This is the first time I have tried to quit and I have smoked for 13 years. It is not at all easy, I am noticing that I need to make many other habitual changes to compensate.
I do feel much better in general and I have been exercising quite a bit as well. My oinly complaint is that sometimes in the morning and at night I still have mucus and a cough.
I have read that this could be due to the cilia growing back in our esophagus. It also could just be a regular cold.
I really want this kind of thing to go away, this is the main reason I quit. Could those veteran quiiters out there give me some insight into the cessation of the smoker's cough and or phlegm?
Thanks in advance for welcomming me to the forums and I am looking forward to becomming part of the community.
