At 5 pm today, It will be two weeks since I have had a cigarette. I feel great!!!
I am 32 years old & have tried quiting numerous times using different methods. I tried cold turkey before (so I thought), but I always had a puff or two to keep me going those first few days. Now, after reading this website, I realize how much harder I was making it on myself. The "true" cold turkey has been great. I quit on Thurday evening, Friday was the hardest, mostly the "foggy" feeling I had all day. After that it has only gotten easier, just trying to break the actual habit.
This quit is so much different, it is definitly "the one" and I am so thankful that I found this website and all of you. I feel empowered and amazing!!!
I have been quit for 1 Week, 6 Days, 21 hours and 40 minutes (13 days). I have saved $31.27 by not smoking 208 cigarettes. I have saved 17 hours and 20 minutes of my life. My Quit Date: 5/10/2007 5:00 PM
