Wow, where do I start.... I have smoked since 1970, quit three different times, and went back to it within a year all three times. Nobody had told me the
"NTAP" mantra that has become my guide this time around. I had believed that it was okay to "slip" which always led me right back into
full blown nicotine addiction. This time was different because I found whyquit.com. All the answers I have searched for over the years seemed to be right
in front of me so I was able to set a date with confidence and armed with enough information to stock a small library. I have been quit for 1 Week, 6 Days,
17 hours and 30 minutes (13 days). I have saved $36.38 by not smoking 274 cigarettes. I have saved 22 hours and 50 minutes of my life. My Quit Date:
5/23/2006 11:00 PM. I am so proud of myself that I can hardly stand it. Everyone asks me how I did it and when I tell them about FreedomFromTobacco and
whyquit.com, they look at me like "That can't be all it is....." Thank you to everyone who's posts have helped me to see that I can do
this. I look forward to a long, healthy, tobacco free relationship with all of you.
