Just to say Hi to everyone.
I am 5 days in. I know I am chemically free of nicotine and it doesn't feel good at the moment!
Thanks to this site though I understand how the whole thing works now.
I went to a birthday party last night and was able to manage the triggers - that was my first real test - a drinking/party environment, where usually I would
have been with the group of social outcasts standing outside. I was able to watch but not join in which did feel good!
Anyway, I am glad to have found the wealth of information on this site, which I think has certainly made the whole ordeal seem much more logical and made me
realise this is a chemical addiction, not just lack of will power.
